SUMMERY SALADS FOR KIDS
The mission of Newman’s Own is “To Do Good” as they donate all profits from the sales of their products to charity. We worked with agency Scrum50 to launch Newman’s Own summer salads campaign. Every salad you make with Newman’s dressing can make a difference. The goal was to raise money to help kids with serious illnesses attend virtual summer camps. We created a series of social stories and in-feed ads for Instagram and Facebook.
Social Stories
The client wanted to feature 5 different salads and dressing combinations post initial in-market concept testing. They already had three existing images, but we had to create two more salad and dressing combinations.
We took charge and put together an in-house photoshoot in just a few days. The team collaborated to choose recipes and shop for the ingredients. We organized and produced the photoshoot by sourcing and purchasing props and surfaces as well as serving as the photographer and stylist for the shoot.
For the social story assets, we paired the created photography with animated hand-drawn sticker elements to engage users.
THE RESULTS
This campaign performed above benchmarks in brand retention and action intent. We also helped Newman’s Own achieve their $1 million dollar fundraising goal for the summer of 2020. View the Case Study.
